At the start of fall, I decided I wanted to do another cloud cert (I had previously passed the Microsoft AZ-900). Since AWS controls the majority of the cloud market, I decided to start with the AWS Cloud Certified Practitioner (CCP) Exam. This is the AWS entry level cloud certification. As I have had some cloud knowledge experience before but no hands on practical experience, I wanted to find a training program that also included practical lab walkthroughs, which lead me to ExamPro. In the course of two weeks I started a #100DaysofCloud challenge, I went through EXamPro’s CCP training class/labs, did a live stream of one of their practice exams, and successfully passed the AWS CCP exam! I hope the below two videos are helpful to other folks who are interested in partaking in this cloud journey.

In the above video, I provided a review of the study content, the layout of the exam, and the testing from home experience with Pearson Vue. I also covered the resources provided by AWS. I was also grateful to have Andrew Brown, the founder of ExamPro on to discuss his perspective on the exam, talk about his training programs, and what are the best pathways moving forward after you pass your AWS CCP.

The below video is a practice exam walkthrough I recorded with the permission of Andrew and ExamPro. The purpose of this was to go through their sample test, and explain why the answers I chose are (or are not) correct. This practice exam is a very solid start for understanding the type of questions/topics that the AWS CCP entails.
